Not entirely Rover content but interesting enough nonetheless. Stuart Longair entered his Series 11a 109 in the Blethering Place car show in Victoria in early August this year and sent along these photos. Check out the front wing configuration on the 80" parked beside the rolling chassis restoration. Here are Stuart's comments. The rolling chassis belongs to Mike Garnett, it is a 1951 Series I 80” from Saltspring. Clive Robinson had three Rovers there. The odd looking pre-Series 1952 with the square wheel wells, stock I am told, a 1972 RHD Lightweight, and a beautiful 1994 NAS Defender 90 #33, Derek Norman’s 1982 SIII Lightweight was next to Summer. Summer is my 1969 SIIa diesel wagon with the Hannibal roof tent. Barry Tuckwell brought his 1984 RHD 110 to round out the exhibit. So we had Series I, II, III, 110 and Defender which was a great representation of Land Rovers through the years.
